The Justice System and Me
So many of you know about the court battle going on between my sis and that guy shes married to. Today is supposed to be the final court date. Not that it hasn't been "the final court date" before. I'm not so sure about my faith in the Kentucky court system. Jezzia was to start kindergarden in kentucky earlier this month. The girls were doing a stay with mom one week and stay with dad the next kind of visitation, which would interfere with school. The judge refused to make a decision and told them to work it out between them. So Kindergarden is not mandatory in Alabama. If you are enrolled in Kentucky it is mandatory. Jezzia was in preschool there last year and so was automatically enrolled. Sis ended up having to violate court order to keep Jezzia in school. So the girls were split up as she had no excuse to keep Zoi. Which I think is total crap, but thats me. So today is the day. Will I ever see the girls again? Rusty's lawyer is costly and hasn't been worth too much so far. I hope today he steps up and does what I'm helping to pay him to do. Meanwhile, the poor girls are stuck in the middle of this crap situation. If I thought I could adopt them I'd do it in a second.
