New dog, Foxy girl.
Petsmart has pet adoptions every Saturday. So we try to not go on Saturdays because Kenny and I are suckers. We went a while back and Kenny fell in love with this dog. Small 2-3 years old looks like a fox named Foxy. This was some time before Thanksgiving. We went for dog food on Sunday, which should have been safe but I guess with the holidays they are doing Sat and Sun. Foxy was still there so we adopted her. She is about 20 lbs, maybe. Jack is 34lbs. She was a feral dog that lived for several years in a park. The pound finally caught her and was going to put her down so ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) took her in. They do a lot of fostering. So if you want to have a pet without the long term commitment this is a great organization. This is where we got Jack. So you can foster puppies if you like puppies and not dogs. :) Anyway. She is super sweet. She can not bark and so yips instead. So I constantly think that Jack is hurting her, but they don't even touch each other. So far so good. They play well together and she is doing a good job of putting her foot down when needed, because Jack is often a butt. We had a big rain Saturday night and the back yard floods. We got home and took them out back and Foxy launched herself off the back steps and into the Lake Ponchakacey, and rolled around. Kenny and I just stopped and was like "Well, hmm" Jack followed and screeched to a halt at the water line. He's quite dainty in the presence of wet. Too funny. So hopefully this will go well. Pics to follow.

Read at your own risk.
Our social worker at work used to work at a funeral home. Stop reading now. Seriously. He says that a funeral home in Arkansas burned down during a cremation. They are not supposed to cremate large folk because of this. So the reason is. Seriously. You may be disturbed. Ok so They have drip pans in the crematorium. Large people have a lot of fat and so it drips into the drip pan. Which causes a grease fire. So in Arkansas this client was so large that the drip pan ran over and it caught the crematorium on fire. !! Can you imagine!! That's a lot of drippings. I seriously am going on a diet. I am not bacon!! I have never thought about this and am a little sad to have to now. He also said that some crematoriums have glass windows with a button. So that you can set your own loved on on fire and then watch them burn!!! People are so crazy.

Dirty Poopie Head!!!!
I called Brandon. It's Wednesday, where is it. He says that his manager told him too soon. He spoke with some one else and they said 2 weeks. Says he called Birmingham yesterday and it wasn't there and it takes 2 days to get here from Birmingham. So no Camaro. Maybe next week. I told him to go beat his manager with a stick. In addition, my credit union is 5 hours north of me. So in order to finance the car through them, someone sweet will have to bring me the check. So even when my car gets here I can not have it, probably. Will continue to update, if I do not explode with lack of patience.

New Job
Started my new job on Monday. So far so good although I am not entirely sure what I am supposed to be doing just yet. We shall see how this goes. It is a M-F 7-3:30 position. I have an office with a door and my own computer. I have to carry a pager, yuk. Unfortunately for Skrubby, this means no more awesome poo stories. I go to meetings instead. So we will see how this goes.

Bathing the cats, Jack pics.
We decided to bathe the cats. We only took pictures of Rygel for some reason but it was hilarious. Next time we will have to get video for sound purposes.

Jack is growing up nicely. He can be such a good dog sometimes.

He loves to chase his tail.

This is a bed we bought long ago. He doesn't fit in it anymore, but he still tries.
