Is Thor trying to communicate?

We think Thor is trying to communicate with us. We woke up on Wednesday morning with the six peices of kibble positioned as you see below beside the refidgerator. . Then after shopping today we returned to see these two pieces of kibble positioned in the middle of the living room. I don't know what it means. Any ideas?
