Poor Choices Leads To More Poor Choices

I get home from work last night and my sis had sent pictures to my phone. One of her and the girls. One of a wedding chapel sign. I thought Oh no. :( and then one of her in a white dress and some guy. So I called her and got no answer. I called mom who didn't answer but did eventually call me back. And yes my sister got married on Friday. To who you ask? Mom says his name is David and that is all she knows. Who is this David person? I have never heard of him, but now he is going to be another "daddy" figure for my girls. What is she thinking? Which brings me to my thoughts on that......

Some people are born into hard lives, with no money, a poor education, bad side of town.... Some people choose that life. The "rode hard and put up wet" look. As far as I can see, my sister has chosen this path. Why? Poor decision making skills. She just makes BAD choices.

Maybe this guy is the answer to all our prayers. But I don't think so. As things can go very poorly for her now. I look to the darker side. She'll be physically and mentally abused and then later, if not sooner, so will the girls. Because here in reality gifts from God don't show up in a week like that.

I mean really. She's been divorced for 3 months. How many boyfriends in that time? I agree with Doug now. There's no God in marriage, just "The Man". So why do it. There's no point.

Working away... At least this week.

I am working this weekend. So not much going on. Watched Lost this past Wednesday and then the new show The Evidence, which didn't give you all the evidence prior to the show. Such Lies. It was ok. And Lost was mediocre. It should be better on Wednesday to come. Nothing else going on. Work was The Suck on Friday. Blasted crazy folk. But I'm off on Monday, so yippee. My neice will be 6 in 2 Saturdays from now. I need to go up to Kentucky for their birthdays. The youngest was 4 on her b'day earlier this month. Anyway...

My truck

My truck I drove in high school.

Dr. Who Scarf.

The Scarf as of 3/18/06.

I calculated that 2154 rows at 5 minutes per row (179.5 hours) at $6 an hour would cost. $1077 . It is a good thing that I do not charge for my free time.

Weekend Wrap Up

Thursday night Vickie came to Picklefish, that was nice. Friday was LAN night. Fun was had. I enjoyed Savage but I can't handle first person shooters for long. They make me nauseaus. So once they started playing Unreal Tournament 2k4 I ended up sleeping for a while, while they played. Saturday was a bust. We were supposed to see Aerosmith. We get to Pensacola and they say it is cancelled. It would've been nice if we had listened to the radio before we left. On the way back we bought lotto tickets ( no we didn't win 21 million) and stopped for dippin dots. We watched DOOM, which was better than my expectations, but I expected it to be eye stabbing misery. Kenny didn't like it. And today was a bum day. I ran out of blue yarn so work on the scarf has halted for the moment. I will shop and begin again on Wednesday. Thats my story.
